Museum of Impressionism Giverny
A fine tribute to all the impressionists in the world, discover the Musée des Impressionnismes and its garden in Giverny. This Museum presents the history of the emblematic artistic movement in a futuristic listed garden. Designed by the landscape architect Mark Rudkin this contemporary garden has been listed as an Outstanding garden in 2009 and bears many references to impressionist colors and themes.
The permanent exhibition entitled "Autour de Claude Monet" offers an insight into "the influence of the works of Claude Monet on his contemporaries and on succeeding generations". This gallery pays tribute to one of the founders of the movement.
Beautifully designed, these temporary exhibitions, present different perspectives of the Impressionist movement.
